Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced

BIM Modeler

specializing in

aluminum facade systems

or

structural steel detailing

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing

3D BIM models

for complex facade or steel systems while ensuring precise coordination with architects, engineers, and project managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and proficiency in

BIM software

.

Key Responsibilities:

BIM Modeling & Documentation:

Create and maintain

3D BIM models

for aluminum facades or steel structural systems using

Autodesk Revit

. Produce

construction, shop

, and

fabrication drawings

, including plans, sections, and elevations.

Design Coordination:

Collaborate with design teams (internal and external) to ensure seamless integration of design intent. Update models based on

client revisions

,

engineering feedback

, and

site conditions

.

Model Management & Quality Assurance:

Keep project models up to date and adhere to

BIM execution plans

and

project-specific standards

. Perform

clash detection

using

Navisworks

, and actively participate in

coordination meetings

to resolve conflicts.

Analysis & Quantification:

Generate accurate

quantity take-offs

for

estimation

and

procurement

. Integrate

BIM data

with

4D scheduling

and

5D cost management

tools where applicable.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Assist in

technical presentations

and

BIM reviews

to clearly communicate design concepts to

clients

and

consultants

. Collaborate with

project managers

to ensure deliverables meet

quality standards

and

deadlines

.

Team Support & Training:

Mentor

junior BIM technicians

, ensuring

quality control

and supporting the team's

skills development

.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

3-5 years of professional experience in

BIM modeling

with a focus on

aluminum facades

or

structural steel systems

.

Software Expertise:

Advanced proficiency in

Revit

; working knowledge of

Navisworks

,

AutoCAD

, and

Tekla Structures

is highly preferred.

Technical Acumen:

Strong understanding of

fabrication

and

installation processes

in facade or structural systems, as well as

architectural/structural construction

elements.

Documentation Skills:

Experience in producing detailed,

coordinated construction-ready shop drawings

.

Standards Compliance:

In-depth knowledge of

local and international building codes

,

BIM standards

, and documentation protocols.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in

collaborative

and

cross-functional teams

.
