About the Role:

COENGR is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

BIM Mechanical Engineer

with strong experience in

Revit MEP

and other BIM tools. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing and coordinating mechanical systems and must have worked extensively on

Aldar development projects

. The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, BIM-compliant designs aligned with Abu Dhabi's authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage

Revit MEP models

for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. Coordinate mechanical models with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines using BIM collaboration tools. Prepare and review

shop drawings, sections, schedules, and detailed layouts

. Ensure all mechanical BIM outputs are compliant with

Aldar standards

, authority guidelines (e.g., ADM), and project specifications. Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to clash detection/resolution using tools like Navisworks. Maintain model accuracy, version control, and proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the preparation of BOQs and technical submittals when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of

6 years of UAE experience

, preferably in

Abu Dhabi

, with proven work on

Aldar projects

. Proficient in

Revit MEP

, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination platforms such as

Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar

. Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi local codes, standards, and authority submission processes. Excellent attention to detail, model organization, and documentation control. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment.
