As a Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our finance department. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing and invoicing, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities
Review and process payments, invoices, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow up with clients on overdue payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all invoices are coded correctly and recorded accurately.
Monitor and track incoming payments and update accounting systems accordingly.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
Handle incoming phone calls and email inquiries from clients regarding billing and payments.
Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support during audits.
Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Billing Assistant or in a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
