• Handle customers for the end-to-end fulfilment of their transportation needs for both import and export of horses
• Regularly stay in touch with customers to generate enquiries for new business
• Liaise with customers to collect all information and documents relating to the horse as well as the equipment and baggage accompanying the horse
• Stay in touch with the customer, vendors, airlines, third party service providers, grooms, and field operations team at every step of the shipment to ensure smooth flow of operations
• Follow the processes and ensure systems, procedures and documentation are always adhered to
• Update the job card, flight schedule, supplementary job card, SLI, consignment notes, and ensure all necessary documents are kept in the pouch
• Ensure timely invoicing and closure of all jobs by including all costs and expenses relevant for each shipment
• Liaise and build relationship with vendors, suppliers, and service providers such as airlines, veterinary doctors, laboratories, equestrian hospitals, stables, stud farms, grooms, foreign agents, etc. to always ensure smooth operations
• Liaise with the Commercial and Finance Manager to ensure timely preparation of accurate and competitive quotations for customer enquiries
• Liaise with the Field Operations Team to ensure safe, smooth, and timely clearances and handling at the airport
• Liaise with the Road Transportation Team to ensure safe and smooth transportation of horses from stable to airport or airport to quarantine and then to stable
• Attend flights from time to time to gain a proper understanding of the end-to-end process relating to Horse Transportation

Criteria:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Strong administration and operations experience
• A stable work record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Service mindedness with a positive attitude
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Empathy and respect for others
• Meticulous planning and execution
• Should be available on their mobile after office hours in case of emergencies when moving live animals. Requiring occasional overtime and working from home (after hours and on weekends) for urgent requests and as deemed necessary to operations
• Must currently reside in the UAE
