Job Overview:
The Health Reinsurance Officer is responsible to provide administrative services for various reinsurance arrangements to support business growth. The incumbent will be responsible to evaluate reinsurance contracts and negotiate on the terms and conditions as per company policy
What you do:

• Prepares new reinsurance contracts for potential and confirmed clients.

• Prepares a comparison sheet listing the similarities and differences between cedents.

• Follows up on all the requested signed treaty documents between the cedents, AWP Dubai and AWP Head Office (Paris and Dublin).

• Prepares and monitors contracts for signature (treaties, slips, PNOCs, NDAs, brokers agreements,)

• Organizes and participates in meetings with clients and internal stakeholders

• Support in maintaining a strong customer satisfaction

• Support in preparing minutes of meetings and follow up on actions points.

• Coordinates with the Underwriting team on all late referrals and project priorities.

• Performs monthly bordereau to all clients with all booked business for confirmation in order to avoid account discrepancy with the Production/Finance team.

• Prepares monthly reports showing all the business consideration cases.

• Maintain a detailed record of the business pipeline and closing ratios for Treaties and jumbo/strategic accounts

• Monitors the Underwriting TAT based on the quotation register sheet in order to anticipate any potential complaint and solve it before it occurs.

• Supports in organizing/coordinating meeting arrangements by liaising with various stakeholders

• Documents minutes of meeting and follows up on action items when requested

What you bring:

• Bachelor's Degree; Legal or Insurance background preferred.

• 2+ years relevant experience.

• Physically fit to carry out duties.

• Legally permitted to work in the country of operations.

• Fluency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general internet navigation and research skills.

• Attention to detail and ability of multi-task.

• Organizational & time management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

• Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and users.

• Ability to demonstrate sounds work ethics.

• The ability to communicate sensitively and effectively within the department and other departments having regard for the strict need for confidentiality.

• To be capable of responding diplomatically to pressures and problems showing a calm approach to working towards deadlines and always able to show an innovative and creative approach to work.

• Able to interpret and analyze complex data.

• Able to demonstrate strong initiative with ability to work independently and maintain focus under pressure.
