As a Bartender at SO/ Uptown Dubai, you will play a key role in delivering world-class service through your mixology expertise and engaging personality.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including creative cocktails, premium wines, and craft spirits
• Provide personalized and engaging service to guests while maintaining an upscale, fashionable bar environment
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Accurately handle POS transactions and process guest payments
• Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely and consistent service
• Take part in regular product knowledge and cocktail training sessions
• Handle guest queries or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and positive reviews

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of proven experience in bartending, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end bar
• Extensive knowledge of global beverage trends, cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and craft beer
• Certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe or local equivalent)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling
• A team-oriented attitude with high energy and enthusiasm
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Bartending certification and knowledge of Dubai's hospitality scene are strong advantages
