Job Description
Responsible in counting the correct no. of pieces of rebar in one bundle, reliever on some other job in Cooling Bed, and Follow Rules and Regulation implemented by the company. Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:
- Make sure that steel bars were counted for a required no of pieces in a bundle as required for the given size of rebar
- Relievers in other duties in Cooling bed area in case of manpower shortage
- Make sure that the bar tips are align, bundles were properly tied before Forklift lifting.
- Obey company rules and regulation
- To attend safety trainings planned for them.
- Relievers in other duties like Sorter, Cooling Bed Riggers, Cold Shear operator, Cooling bed Operator, in the absence of the personnel assigned or in case of manpower shortage and he must know the mentioned job
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions
- Maintain cleanliness of the chain transfer and his working area, including scale cleaning, cobbles and crop ends removal etc.
- Follow Company rules and regulations i.e. safety rules and regulations, good housekeeping practices etc.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible
- To follow safety instructions related to their jobs
- In the case of manpower shortage, he will take charge in operating the packing bed chain
- Cleanliness on his working area should be always observed
