Job Description

Working with General Manager of the Family Office across portfolio companies by supporting and driving improvements in key strategic and operational metrics in areas of Finance and Operations to enhance shareholder value. Main focus is to drive operational efficiency, financial controls/reporting, cash runway management, debt raise and M&A of our portfolio companies.

The Family Office is responsible for (a) Investment Portfolio growth, management and monitoring (b) investment support services ,providing deal structuring and closing, portfolio monitoring, valuation, finance, operations, tax, data management and analytics services, in the execution of investments strategy in investees across sectors including real estate, agri-tech, packaging, Industry 4.0, financial services, construction and healthcare . It is involved in financial reporting and accounting of investment holding companies, as well as operations and financial due diligence for asset operations

Responsible for

Work closely with investment teams to ideate, design and deliver insightful portfolio and asset level analysis and support for effective growth of the Strategic and Financial Investment portfolio

Partner internal stakeholders across investee entities to identify, source and ensure data availability to enable analytics needs for the portfolio

Co-ordinate the annual cycle of portfolio / asset management activities, including hold / sell analysis, strategic asset planning and annual operating and capital budgeting processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Support critical operational processes during the lifecycle of investments including business updates, updates of investment attributes, internal office bearer approvals and other relevant processes

Propose and execute process efficiency gains, through industrialisation and digitalisation of repetitive and timeconsuming tasks and focus on high value add processes \xe2\x80\xa2

Designing financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analyses

Performing valuation analysis on a wide range of illiquid investments broadly distributed across industries and geographies while using accepted and relevant approaches and theory

Review and Analysis of business performance by providing MIS / Dashboards to present to the board.

Assist companies with setting up of sustainable financial control processes.

Guiding Companies on mergers/acquisitions/restructuring

Evaluation and Financial/ Legal Due Diligence on new and follow-on investments.

Job Requirements Chartered Accountant 10 years of relevant Corporate Finance experience / portfolio management and Operational Prior experience of working either in investment private equity or family office in GCC specially in UAE
