Automotive Sales Manager

Job Description

Lead the sales operations of an automotive dealership or brand within the UAE region. You're responsible for driving sales revenue, managing a high-performing team, and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

2. Key Responsibilities



Based on templates and local listings, duties commonly include:

Sales Strategy & Targets

: Design and implement sales plans and campaigns to meet dealership or brand objectives

Team Leadership & Development

: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a sales team. Conduct daily or weekly coaching sessions to boost performance.

Customer Relationship Management

: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, handling negotiations, financing, and ensuring high satisfaction.

Market & Inventory Oversight

: Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs. Oversee inventory levels, merchandising, and pricing strategy.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting

: Produce and track sales forecasts, pipeline metrics, and performance reports. Provide actionable insights to senior management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

: Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations to align promotions, F&I offerings, and customer experiences.

Compliance & Process Improvement

: Ensure adherence to SOPs, legal regulations, and continuously enhance sales processes.

3. Qualifications & Requirements



Job requirements often include:

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. E

xperience

: 5-7 years in automotive sales with 2-3+ years in a managerial role. UAE or regional dealership experience is a plus.

Industry Knowledge

: Strong understanding of automotive products, financing & insurance processes (F&I), CRM tools, and dealership software.

Language Skills

: Excellent English--Arabic skills are an advantage. UAE driver's license may be required depending on the role.

Personal Skills

: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication abilities. Resilience under pressure and a customer-first mindset.

4. Performance Metrics & KPIs



Common metrics to include:
