Job Summary: Looking for an AutoCAD Draughtsman (2D & 3D) in Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, as well as models using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards
• Work closely with architects, engineers, as well as other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes into the drawings effectively
• Assist in the preparation of design documents and visual aids to facilitate the development and presentation of project concepts
• Review and verify drawings for errors, omissions, as well as inconsistencies, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations
• Support the preparation of material quantity take-offs and cost estimates to support project planning and budgeting
• Maintain an organized library of drawings, project files, as well as documentation, ensuring version control and easy retrieval of information
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AutoCAD tools and technologies, implementing best practices and seeking ways to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the drafting process
• Clearly communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or related course
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman with a portfolio showcasing 2D and 3D drafting capabilities
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D modeling tools and features
• Solid knowledge of engineering and architectural principles, standards, as well as terminology
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all drawings and documentation
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve drawing-related issues
