Job Description
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman at IIQAF to join our team of engineers in creating intelligent, high-quality designs. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and utilizing 2D and 3D drawings for projects. To be successful, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need excellent technical skills, creativity, problem-solving, and document management skills.

- Draft detailed layout drawings of mechanical components and assemblies for designing new products
- Stimulate product prototypes, engineering and promotional sketches using AutoCAD
- Utilize SolidWorks and similar software to develop detailed drawings
- Analyze drawings and revise designs to achieve highest quality
- Revise and follow engineering instructions and specifications
- Make updates to database of existing CAD drawing for revision
- Generate and/or modify technical drawings from sketches
- Work independently and collaborate with other drafters as and when required
- Produce completed drawings, tables and renderings
- Assist in establishing and maintaining the highest level of CAD/Database software knowledge
- Associate Degree or Diploma in AutoCAD or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with AutoCAD software
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D Drafting
- Expert knowledge of industry practices, standards and design methods
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar software
- Outstanding computer skills, including database management
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong communication
