Job Description

To prepare accurate and detailed AutoCAD drawings and layouts for civil, mechanical, electrical, or architectural projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop detailed

2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings

based on design concepts, sketches, and engineering inputs. Prepare

plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings

for construction and fabrication purposes. Update and revise existing drawings according to site conditions and design changes. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure

accuracy and clarity

in drawings. Maintain organized records and drawing databases in accordance with project documentation standards. Ensure that all drawings comply with

company standards, codes, and project requirements.

Assist in

quantity estimation and material take-offs

from drawings when required. Collaborate with project and site teams to resolve technical drawing issues. Perform

quality checks

to ensure precision and completeness of all drafted documents. Support the design and engineering teams during

project execution and as-built documentation.


Required Skills & Competencies:



Proficient in

AutoCAD (2D & 3D)

and other relevant design software (Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks, etc., as applicable). Strong understanding of

engineering and construction drawings

(civil, mechanical, electrical, or architectural). Good knowledge of

drafting standards, symbols, and notation.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in drawing preparation. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments efficiently.

Qualification:



Diploma or ITI in Draftsmanship / Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Architecture). Certification in AutoCAD or equivalent design software preferred.
