Job Title: Facade Designer / Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facade Designer / Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in producing high-quality shop drawings and fabrication drawings, both in 2D and 3D, specifically for facade and architectural elements.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate shop drawings and fabrication drawings for facade systems including aluminium, glass, and cladding works.

Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD (and other CAD tools, if applicable). Coordinate with the design and project team to ensure drawings align with project requirements and site conditions. Issue material take-offs based on approved drawings and project specifications. Ensure drawings are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and client expectations. Participate in design reviews, revisions, and value engineering processes as required.
Requirements:

Proven experience in facade design/drafting within the construction or facade industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting techniques. Experience in preparing material take-offs and understanding of building materials used in facade systems. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of other design software, such as Revit, Rhino, or SolidWorks, is a plus.

Understanding of fabrication and installation methods for aluminium and glass facade systems. Diploma or degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
