In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is setting out to become the indispensable source of information for the world's most influential business leaders.
We're seeking an Audience Development Associate to join our innovative Bloomberg Live team on a contract until June 2026. In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of Audience and Client Experience to recruit and champion senior local executives and partner delegations attending the Qatar Economic Forum, ensuring a world-class experience for those attending.
We'll trust you to:

Serve as a primary lead in the recruitment of senior international and local delegates to attend the Qatar Economic Forum
Help maintain relationships with local and internal stakeholders in order to achieve specific event goals
Provide stakeholders with up-to-date delegate invitation and confirmation lists
Supervise and answer inbound queries from the general mailbox in a timely manner
Act as a focal point for inbound lead requests to be in attendance of the Forum
Work with regional and international partners to facilitate their registration for the Forum
Support in the registration process for key internal and external partner groups
Maintain and update information within CRM tools like Salesforce and other event technology solutions
Travel to in-person events as needed and lead customer experience on-site
Fulfill other related duties, as assigned
You'll need to have:

3-6 years working in events, marketing, government relations or client management
Solid understanding of Salesforce and familiarity with other registration or lead generation systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Products, in particular, strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Proficiency working with digital tools and ability to pick up new technologies easily
Strong attention to detail and good judgment when handling and processing critical information
Comfort cold calling and connecting with senior executive teams and government agencies to coordinate their attendance to QEF
Knowledge of government protocols and a solid understanding of regional institutions, corporations and government entities
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work across time zones with global counterparts
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and lead multiple collaborators quickly and efficiently
