Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and technically masterful

Atelier Production Manager

to lead and optimize all manufacturing operations within our Dubai couture workshop. This pivotal role requires a candidate with a proven track record in luxury fashion production, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to seamlessly manage the intersection of design vision, precision craftsmanship, and demanding timelines.

Key Responsibilities and DutiesI. Technical & Quality Leadership

Precision Oversight:

Enforce and uphold world-class

Haute Couture quality standards

across all stages: pattern-making, mock-ups, fabric cutting, construction, and finishing.

Technical Translation:

Act as the expert bridge between the Design Team's vision and the technical realization by the artisans, translating complex sketches and fitting notes into practical, precise production steps.

Workflow & Scheduling:

Develop and manage a detailed

Production Calendar

and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports for bespoke client orders and collection cycles, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Materials Handling:

Manage the inventory, allocation, and handling protocols for high-value and delicate materials (e.g., silks, rare laces, specialized embroideries) to ensure zero wastage or damage.

II. Atelier Management & Team Leadership

Team Supervision:

Direct, motivate, and manage a multicultural team of specialized artisans, including Master Tailors, Pattern-Makers, and Hand-Embroiderers.

Recruitment & Training:

Oversee the recruitment of highly skilled artisans and implement continuous training to maintain and elevate the technical expertise of the team.

Efficiency & Cost Control:

Monitor and optimize labor costs and production efficiency. Ensure the atelier operates within allocated budgets while maintaining uncompromising quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum

7+ years

in fashion production management, with at least

4 years in a luxury couture environment.

Technical Expertise (Essential):

Must possess comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of

advanced garment construction, pattern-making, draping, fit adjustments, and managing intricate handwork.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Production Management, or an equivalent technical certification.

Language Skills:

Fluent in English

(written and verbal) is mandatory. Proficiency in

Arabic, Hindi, or Tagalog

is a significant advantage for managing a diverse Dubai-based workforce.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional leadership, meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and cultural sensitivity to manage a diverse, high-pressure, luxury work environment.
