JOB DESCRIPTION The Assistant Manager - Technical Service & Customer Relations will be responsible for the following tasks:
Oversee and manage the engineering service team for Web offset, Flexo, and Inkjet printing equipment to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
Ensure timely installation, maintenance, and breakdown support for all equipment.
Allocate jobs, plan manpower deployment, and manage service schedules effectively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, promptly addressing service-related concerns.
Support customer retention through proactive service, technical guidance, and problem-solving.
Ensure proper documentation of all service activities, including manuals, reports, and technical records.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to continuously enhance service quality.
Plan manpower allocation, schedules, and workload distribution to optimize operational efficiency.
Support the introduction, installation, and market development of new Inkjet, Offset, and Flexo products, including technical training and field support.
Qualifications & Competencies
B. Tech in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical engineering
An MBA will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and organizing abilities.
Minimum Experience Experience required: 12-15 years. Experience in Printing Industrial and/or Packaging machinery sector is essential Minimum managerial experience: 2-3 years
