Provide innovative concepts, direction and manage Bread and Ferment Application for NPD/EPD/VE defined by Bakery stakeholders in order to ensure proper launch according with funnel pipeline. Define long term and short- term goals to identify growth opportunities, formulating action plan across the R&D community.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Bakery Application Development Manager (Chef) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating high-quality applications for the Bread &ferments industry and will possess the technical expertise and leadership skills necessary to drive our development efforts forward.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead, manage and develop the international technical advisors and application specialists bread & ferments team.
Help Central/BU R&D teams to understand product requirements, attributes, texture by doing demonstration.
Provide Technical inputs to Central R&D team
Create Innovative recipes from Bread &ferments range of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, Concept design, and quality assurance, to drive the development process from concept to delivery.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the development team.
Oversee the planning and execution of application development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with Central O&F and creams R&D to design applications that promotes distribution of O&F and Creams skus through bakery sales channel.
Organize internal and external training and workshops for IFFCO business teams and IFFCO customers
KPIs
Define and implement best practices for application development, presentation quality, concept scalability, and food safety.
Develop test baking protocols for Bread &ferments range of products - Improvers, mixes, laminated pastry, vienessorie etc.
Engage, and travel to the customer if needed, with key customers\' R&D teams for product development and application support to develop tailored customer solutions (20% time)
Work experience requirement
Bachelor\'s degree in hotel management having bakery as expertise advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in software development, with a focus on applications for the food industry, preferably within the patisserie
Qualification
Must have a Bachelor Degree in Food Technology or related field.
Master Degree in Food Technology or related field is desirable.
