Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the west crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director of Sales - UK & Europe to join the Sales department in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main purpose of this role is to manage the portfolio for UK, Ireland and European Countries, wholesale partners, DMCs, travel agents and consortia agencies. Eligible to travel to these countries when required to attend events, sales calls, exhibitions. To drive in meeting the targets for designated Accounts and defined new Markets/segments for own territory. To execute the sales & marketing strategy and plan of action related to own segment. Ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with Jumeirah\'s Brand Standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Sets and monitors annual commercial plan goals and sales targets with SMART KPIs.
• Provides leadership in entrepreneurial sales activities for self and the team.
• Ensures departmental policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
• Continuously reviews procedures and processes within the department to achieve maximum profit, productivity and efficiency.
• Continuously reviews product and branding to ensure we are selling creatively and offering a more innovative edge over our competitors.
• Liaises with relevant departments to ensure all customer needs and requests are met.
• Identifies and builds productive relationships with business partners.
• Leads the creation of flexible solutions to attract new and potential customers.
• Coaches and is a mentor for the Sales team.
• Complies with all regional reporting requirements in the said timeframe.
• Conducts site inspections and entertainment for Sales.
• Determines and implements the balance of business mix into the hotel.
• Provides on the job and external training for colleagues in the department as required.
• Submit weekly sales call plan & entertainment plans for pro-active team the following week to DOS.
• To produce sales call report and ensure our database is always up to date.
• Ensure the sales team is utilizing sales force and all other tools as per the company guidelines.
• To reply to all quotations within 12 hours and with the rate guidelines given by the Director of Revenue.
• Assists the DOS in budget and forecast exercises.
• Manages the UK and European markets and maintains the lead for the top DMC accounts to maximize strategic goals.
• Submit all new opportunities for the SBU\'s via Salesforce
• Proper quality of input in Salesforce and make sure to enter new contacts and accounts into the system as per the Jumeirah Data Entry Standards.

About You

• Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
• Master\'s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
• At least 3 years in a Leadership role in the luxury hotel company.
• In-depth experience understanding of the leisure multi market.
• Candidate must have a solid understanding of luxury travel UK and European markets, knowledge of Chinese and Australian markets desirable.
• Good understanding of core hotel operations.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Time management skills.
• Creative and innovative approach to sales activities.
• Strong understanding of core hotelier operations.
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills.
