About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director to join our Marketing department in Burj Al Arab.

Purpose

Help define and implement Burj Al Arab\'s marketing & PR strategy, providing vision, frameworks and assistance to Talise Spa, rooms and the C&I facilities. Responsible for creating and managing marketing & PR campaigns and projects both online and offline at hotel level.

Actively monitor and guide Jumeirah\'s brand standards ensuring full compliance with the Jumeirah brand VSG, LSG and PSG.

Provide support to the DOSM on Marketing & PR strategy and in driving different activities to maximize stakeholders\' satisfactions.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

Strategize, Build, And Execute the Marketing & PR Plan and Budget to Optimize The ROI.

Work With Det on Integrated Marketing & PR Campaigns To Drive Revenue And Awareness.

Work With Partners Like Visa on Strategic Partnership Opportunities to Promote And Amplify MJ Through Their B2C And B2B Channels.

Responsible For Managing and Implementing Marketing Campaigns and Projects Both Online and Offline at Hotel Level Across International Markets Like Russia, UK, GCC, China, India, Africa, Eastern Europe, United States and Germany.

Drive Different Marketing & PR Initiatives to Maximize Stakeholders\' Satisfaction.

Meet With the Revenue Directors to Initiate Plans That Will Drive Additional Volume/ADR Into The Key Periods.

Monitor And Adjust the Marketing Plans Based on Optimization And Roi Tracking.

Ensure The Website Content for Burj Al Arab Is Fully Updated, In Line with The Standards Established For Website Content.

Manage Relationships with Different Types of Agencies and Suppliers Making Sure Those Partners Fully Understand and Maximize the Value of Burj Al Arab.

Ensure 360degree approach where all teams are Involved in Marketing Campaigns, where applicable, to maximize audience and reach.

Improve ROI for all Marketing and PR activities and establish campaign KPIS For Success.

Track productivity of each Marketing and PR activity planned and executed.

Analyze and optimize data from the past years to find trends that improve ROI of campaigns.

Provide the required marketing support to the different departments within the Organization including Sales and operational departments such as Spa, The Aquarium and Rooms.

Oversee projects related to photography and video shoots in adherence to brand style guidelines.

Ongoing competitor reviews and checks to identify special offers and activities done by the hotels in the competitive set.

Work closely with the digital analysts to ensure that all marketing activity is supported with the measurement of results.

Building relationships with key media in the UAE and ensuring their attendance at relevant hotel events

Supporting the dissemination of all communications materials to media including press releases, picture stories, listings etc.

Identifying and creating stories for internal communications to be shared via the corporate office.

Managing the media and influencer experience programme at the hotels - ensuring the highest quality of experience is delivered.

Develop key partnerships / sponsorships for the hotel with amplification through external comms to drive awareness / footfall / room nights etc.

Suggesting creative ideas and ways to differentiate the hotel through impactful media relations programmes ensuring the highest standard of delivery of any media events at the hotel - attendance required.

Day-to-day liaison with any external PR or social media agencies and ensuring the quality of delivery.

Support the corporate office to handle any issues that occur in the hotel with the aim of protecting the reputation of the hotel /brand in the media and on social channels.

Lead the marketing & PR team to ensure growth in skill as well as optimization of the workload.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Stakeholder Relationships

INTERNAL: all marketing & PR colleagues, group digital and brand marketing colleagues, regional sales and marketing colleagues, corporate sales team, group it team, hotel sales and marketing director, legal team, GM\'S, RVP\'S, SVP\'S, VP\'S and Asset Manager.

EXTERNAL: Brand and advertising agencies, creative agencies, pr agencies, social agencies, online publishers, analytics companies, consultants.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in marketing/public relations, business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned university -desirable

Master\'s degree in marketing/public relations, business or equivalent from an accredited and renowned university.

Experience

At least 2 years of marketing & pr experience, preferably with leading hospitality brand or high-end luxury company.

In-depth experience of budgeting, analysis and marketing & pr strategies

Local and international market media experience.

Skills and Competencies

Solid understanding of marketing & pr best practices.

Strong affiliation with interactive marketing and media strategy, planning and campaign management.

Good understanding of core hotel operations.

Strong communication and writing skills.

Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
