Role Summary
Al-Futtaim Group is looking for a dedicated Associate - Control and Compliance to join its Dubai operations. This role is ideal for finance and audit professionals who can ensure adherence to internal controls, manage compliance processes, and support continuous process improvement. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to operational risk management, and play a key role in safeguarding the company's financial and operational integrity.

Core Duties

• Develop and maintain operational processes, internal controls, and compliance documentation.
• Track and resolve issues, ensuring risks are addressed promptly.
• Support internal audit follow-ups and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
• Coordinate training sessions and track document retention compliance.
• Monitor tax compliance requirements.
• Oversee inventory count processes for stores and warehouses, and support shrinkage reduction plans.
• Review petty cash, payment approvals, and agreements to identify potential risks.
• Ensure all approvals are obtained as per established company policies.
• Support process automation initiatives and system enhancements.
• Liaise with managers and stakeholders to ensure collaboration on compliance matters.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field with 5+ years' experience in control, audit, or compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP system governance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in a multi-national organization is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
