Role Profile:

In this role you will assist the Restaurant Manager in leading multi-cultural teams to deliver of a high quality dining experience. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with supervisory experience who keep the customer at the heart of all they do. With our Food Division growing year-on-year a role with us offers career development on an international scale as well as the exposure to well-known brand names in addition to our own brand concepts.

Key Performance Area:

• Identify and recommend opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling.
• Assist in managing appropriate inventory and control cost of goods.
• Ensure cash handling and till point procedure is handled with accuracy and as per company policy.
• Assist in training, developing and monitoring all staff to ensure consistent demonstration of required customer service standards.
• Assign and/or recommend assignment of specific duties to Employees to ensure all areas of the restaurant are covered and to maximise customer service potential.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Determine/recommend types of food and beverage quantities to be ordered.
• Monitor and appraise the quality of food produce and resolve problem areas.
• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation and cleanliness through the restaurant.
• Facilitate and monitor the correct quality of food and service to customers at all times.
• Ensure implementation of health and safety, food hygiene and local legislation at all times of operation.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Good general educational background.
• Hold a Degree or Diploma in hotel management or management or relevant experience.
• Food & beverages operations experience.
• Knowledge about Food & Health and safety.
• Stock management and inventory management skills.
• Good strong communication skills.

Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management.
