The Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager oversees all Food and Beverage operations, including the Restaurant, Bar area, Lounge, Terrace, Welcome area and supports the kitchen activities, in order to ensure high standards of quality of products and services, whilst maintaining consistency.

What will I be doing?

• To have extensive knowledge of the brand, its history and ensuring Team Members possess the same knowledge
• Manage the food and beverage service to consistently meet high standards as defined by the franchise, hotel and Hilton brand standards
• Effectively control the flow of guests and the interaction between the front and back-of-house throughout service
• To maximize revenue through sales and increase average check through up-selling training and motivational techniques
• Ensure Team Members consistently maintain brand standards and high levels of customer service
• Handle all guest inquiries in an appropriate and professional manner
• Accurately manage all transactions during service
• Manage Team Member schedules
• Control costs of food, beverage and manning
• In charge of proper stock and waste management
• Participates in marketing efforts of restaurants, creates menu ideas, surveys competition and reports food trends, and assists in preparation of specials
• Assist in creating budgets and forecasts
