The Role:

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You will ensure that sales, profitability and customer service targets are met and that the most suitable products and services are available to the customer.

You will also work closely with Restaurant Manager to improve the company\'s performance and ensure business growth by exploiting opportunities to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Performance Area:
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling.
  • Assist in managing appropriate inventory and control cost of goods.
  • Ensure cash handling and till point procedure is handled with accuracy and as per
company policy. * Assist in training, developing and monitoring all staff to ensure consistent

demonstration of required customer service standards. * Assign and/or recommend the assignment of specific duties to Employees to ensure all areas of

the restaurant is covered to maximize customer service potential. * Monitor and appraise the quality of food produce and resolve problem areas.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, presentation and cleanliness through the
restaurant. * Ensure implementation of health and safety, food hygiene and local legislation at all

times of operation. * Facilitate and monitor the correct quality of food and service to customers at all times

Experience :

- Minimum of 3 years of Restaurant Management experience in Casual dining / Fine Dining or all-day dining restaurant.
