We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager - Demand Planning to join our Onboarding team in Dubai.
Scope: Assistant Manager - Demand Planning plays a pivotal role in driving & overseeing the training planning, coordination, and execution of training plans across the organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring alignment of training initiatives with business objective focusing faster onboarding turnaround time & faster deployment, optimizing resources, and maintaining compliance with contractual. By combining analytical forecasting, of cost impact due to excess/Less arrivals and customer centric engagement, the senior officer ensures that the organization delivers consistent, high quality training solutions that enhance workforce capability and operational excellence. The position requires a forward looking, with ability to anticipate needs, mitigate risks and influence key stakeholders while ensuring efficiency, transparency, and innovation in all training related processes.
Financial

  • Manage and mitigate risks by ensuring the organization avoids contractual SLA penalties for non-compliance by keeping regular governance on the data & guiding the team to be proactive with scheduling.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities within training planning to minimize idle time, improve utilization and aims for faster training completions.
  • Oversee the Airside pass/Airport driving permit application and ensure timely processing of passes to prevent operational disruption and penalties.
  • Ensure accuracy of ASP/ADP applications to avoid any penalties & guide the team to keep consistent accuracy.
  • Negotiate with external training providers to achieve idle cost efficiency while maintaining the quality standards.
Customer
  • Act as a key liaison with procurement to ensure adherence to training cost & penalties contractual agreements with our clients, suppliers, and external training organizations.
  • Build and sustain strong relationship with stakeholders, promoting collaboration to align training initiatives with business objectives.
  • Forecast training requirements with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery is on schedule and meets criteria as per TG standard.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by implementing effective feedback mechanism and translating insights into improved training solutions.
  • Serve as an escalation point to address and resolve critical issues impacting SLA adherence and customer expectations.
Process
  • Plan all learning program (both internal and external) for new arrivals in accordance with data captured on the Track and Trace and ensure team execute the plan as per the SLA.
  • Monitor Compliance for all training activities, ensuring contractual, legislative and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Manage allocation of resources (Classroom, Transport, Trainers etc. to optimize utilization and efficiency.
  • Oversee the publication and continuous updating of COE trainer schedule in timely manner and reflect the training activities.
  • Ensure all daily transaction requirements, administrative tasks and other duties are carried out in accordance with current company and legislative practices and procedures. Ensure accurate and up to date records are kept in Transguard' s various employee databases by the team.
  • Prepare forecasts for all assigned processes with the help of various statistical forecasting norms and business intelligence.
  • Aid the management in the day-to-day running of the training facilities by providing reports, including but not limited to the sourcing of materials, maintenance of equipment and tools and the disposal of all waste. Orchestrate and maintain the compliance of the 5s within the workplace to meet the needs of Operational Excellence in line with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare reports to monitor forecast accurately and analyze all training trends.
  • Monitor & track the application of Air Side Passes & Airport Driving Permits along with system updates.
  • Monitor & track the OHC renewals & adhere to the compliance. Forecast & plan OHC renewals effectively prior to the expiry of certificates.
  • Ensure readiness of all reports on time especially when presenting data to stakeholders
  • Motivate the team to stay consistent with operational excellence & offer guidance to achieve KPIs.
