Job Summary: The role aims to be recognized as a trusted advisor to the management. This role supports the finance lead to attract and retaining best-in-class finance professionals. This role assists in developing their finance team and enables them to thrive. The role communicates with impact and ensures a robust control and compliance environment. The AFM is responsible for ensuring that the accounting is carried out in accordance with the principles of correct bookkeeping, local & international regulations, and in accordance with the company accounting policy. \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure that the Company documentation is organized and complete to meet legal, accounting, and Group requirements. \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for optimally managing financial assets and for the safekeeping of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s material assets. \xe2\x80\x93 Punctually provides local management and its staff with all the economic information and data necessary for effective and successful Company management.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Accountancy \xe2\x80\x93 Taking charge of financial accounting in accordance with local legal regulations, principles of correct bookkeeping, international accounting standards, and company accounting policy. \xe2\x80\x93 Ensure that all financial reporting deadlines are met. It also includes the \xe2\x80\x9cquality\xe2\x80\x9d of actual results, forecasts, and comments/explanations communicated to the local management. \xe2\x80\x93 To support preparing monthly and year-end accounting reports to ensure that the Company complies with legal and business requirements. \xe2\x80\x93 Produce an operating profit and loss account and balance sheet to provide accurate and timely financial information which meets business and regulatory requirements. \xe2\x80\x93 Assisting accountants and auditors in their investigations and informing the management of the outcome of these and of any measures that need to be taken. \xe2\x80\x93 Adapting and developing accounting procedures to keep up with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s needs and the requirements of the company.
Management & Security of Resources \xe2\x80\x93 Disposition of financial resources and keeping track of payments. \xe2\x80\x93 Determining customers\xe2\x80\x99 credit standing and deciding on setting credit limits and delivery stoppages. \xe2\x80\x93 Arranging and controlling periodic inventories of stocks, explaining any discrepancies, and making suggestions for improving weaknesses in material management.
Controlling and Internal Accounting \xe2\x80\x93 Planning, implementing and further developing internal accounts systems according to the requirements of the management and the Group. \xe2\x80\x93 Develop and control the company\xe2\x80\x99s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations are complied with. \xe2\x80\x93 Consolidate and interpret financial data from various profit and cost centers to ensure that accurate and timely business information is presented to managers to assist them in decision-making. \xe2\x80\x93 Monitor expenditure against budgets and advise managers of any significant variances. \xe2\x80\x93 Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management of the company.
Planning and Budgeting \xe2\x80\x93 Assist the head of finance with the annual budget for the Company to ensure that individual profit and cost centers have all the necessary information for effective budget management. \xe2\x80\x93 Assist in working out financial plans and budgets according to the Group instructions. \xe2\x80\x93 Supporting the company managers with the punctual working out and submission of the company\xe2\x80\x99s plans/budgets to the management.
General administrative duties Examining and storing all documents and fulfilling all the company\xe2\x80\x99s legal obligations such as maintaining the company\xe2\x80\x99s books, printing prescribed documents, and storing all company documents.
Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\x93 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accountancy. \xe2\x80\x93 Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant. \xe2\x80\x93 Relevant professional accountancy qualification. \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in a manufacturing setup. \xe2\x80\x93 Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. \xe2\x80\x93 Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. \xe2\x80\x93 Strong negotiation and verbal communication skills. \xe2\x80\x93 Languages: Excellent English; Arabic or any other language is an added advantage. IT Skills: \xe2\x80\x93 Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) \xe2\x80\x93 ERP Systems (SAP, IBM Cognos, Oracle). \xe2\x80\x93 SAP Concur.
