Job Brief:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join our organization. The Assistant Finance Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by managing financial operations, overseeing reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with taxation regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management principles.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Operations

- Assist in the day-to-day financial operations.

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

- Conduct periodic financial reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or variances, as necessary.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline financial processes and implement best practices.

Taxation

- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including the filing of tax returns and handling tax-related queries.

- Collaborate with external tax consultants and auditors to prepare and review tax-related documents and reports.

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding their implications.

Financial Controls and Compliance

- Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits, ensuring timely provision of required documentation and addressing audit findings.

- Monitor and assess financial risks, proposing and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.

- Assist in the development and implementation of finance-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA is highly desirable).

- Proven experience (4-7 years) in financial operations, reporting, and taxation within a corporate environment.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax regulations.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel).

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

- Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements.

- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations in finance and taxation.
