to join a luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in conference and event sales within the hospitality industry, with a demonstrated ability to generate leads, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
:
Assist in driving event and conference sales to achieve revenue objectives and exceed targets
Handle client inquiries, prepare tailored proposals, conduct site inspections, and follow up to secure bookings
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, and event organizers
Work closely with internal departments to ensure flawless execution of events and high levels of guest satisfaction
Support the creation and implementation of sales strategies, promotions, and business development plans
Prepare regular sales performance reports, track KPIs, and identify new market opportunities
Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote facilities and services
Maintain accurate records of client communications, leads, and bookings in the CRM or sales management system
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably in conferences and events
Experience in Assistant Manager roles or similar positions within hotel event sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue goals
Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems such as Opera/Sales & Catering or similar
Locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar visa and QID
