for a luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conference and event sales within the hospitality industry, with a proven ability to generate leads, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in driving event and conference sales to achieve and exceed revenue goals
Handle inquiries, prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, and follow up to secure bookings
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, and event organizers
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest satisfaction
Support the development and implementation of sales strategies, promotions, and business plans
Prepare regular sales reports, track performance, and identify new market opportunities
Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote facilities and services
Maintain accurate records of client communication and bookings in the CRM or sales system
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably in conferences and/or events
Prior experience in Assistant Manager roles or equivalent within hotel event sales
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems (Opera/Sales & Catering or similar)
Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar visa and QID
