Mister Baker is seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Confectioner to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will assist in the creation of high-quality confections, ensuring that all products meet our standards of excellence. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
Receive and review orders from the Shop In-Charge for the next day.
Order sponges, fillings, creams, tools, and other necessary items accordingly.
Quality Control:
Taste the sponges received at the start of every day to check for quality.
Cake Preparation:
Cut the sponges (shape and quantity) based on the orders.
Decorate and design the cakes.
Ad-hoc Duties:
Perform additional tasks as required by the Management.
Process Improvement & Management Systems:
Continuous Improvement:
Plan and execute activities for continuous improvement of product and service quality to enhance customer satisfaction.
Compliance:
Ensure all HACCP, ISO, and FSSC related procedures and processes are maintained and followed at all times.
Team Management & Development:
Build and develop teams with complementary skills to ensure the right people are in the right place to achieve company and department goals.
Ethical Conduct:
Earn others' trust and respect through consistent integrity and professionalism in all business interactions.

Culinary Degree
Languages:
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic and Hindi is a plus
Total Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in cake decorating and designing
6+ years of overall experience in the culinary field
