Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architect to lead the submission and approval processes with the

DMT

and other relevant authorities (e.g. DMT, ITC, Civil Defense,Al Dar etc.). The ideal candidate will be well-versed in UAE building regulations, local authority standards, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and timely approvals of design submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review architectural drawings and documentation for authority submissions. Ensure designs comply with the latest

Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT)

regulations, codes, and guidelines. Ensure designs comply with the latest

Al Dar

guidelines and regulation. Coordinate with internal design teams and external consultants to align submissions with project requirements and authority standards. Handle online submission platforms (such as MePS, TAMM). Follow up with authorities for approvals, NOCs, and respond to comments or required modifications. Manage and maintain submission logs, approval trackers, and official correspondence. Attend technical meetings and presentations with authorities when necessary. Support project managers by providing accurate updates on submission status and approval timelines. Keep up to date with new regulations or policy changes issued by authorities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in

authority submissions within Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dafrah

. Strong knowledge of

UAE building codes

DMT standards

, and

Al Dar regulations

. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office. Experience using online submission platforms (e.g., MePS). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English AND Arabic. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
