The Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Emirati dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
:
Prepare and cook traditional Emirati dishes such as Harees, Machboos, Thareed, Luqaimat, and other local specialties.
Follow standardized recipes and ensure consistency in taste and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with food safety regulations.
Monitor food stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
Ensure proper food storage and minimize wastage.
Assist in developing and improving the menu when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
:
Previous experience in Emirati or Arabic cuisine is required.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
Culinary certification is an advantage.
