Reporting to the Supervisor, Technical Support / Manager, Clinical Applications, the Analyst, Laboratory Information System Interface is responsible for the administration and support of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) in addition to creation of HL7 Interfaces to foreign systems.

compliance with applicable regulatory bodies.

operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Participates in meetings and maintains professionalism and confidentiality as per the
organization\'s standard code of conduct.
Completes personal performance evaluation cycle in a timely manner.
System analyst with 5+ years of experience in Cerner LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) across various lab modules (Genlab, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Anatomic Pathology, Etc)
Good Knowledge in building new Lab orders (Genlab, Microbiology, Etc.,) and Lab incident support.
Lab Instrument Interface technical support (MDI). Working with Application vendor, instrument vendors during any communication issues. Knowledge on Cerner IBUS is preferable.
Analysing HL7 messages to identify and fix any issues between interfaces and the Laboratory Information system application.
Overall responsibility for monitoring and maintaining laboratory systems, (like monitoring alerts, daily system health checks)
Implementing change management requests in LIS. Maintaining up-to-date
documentation and necessary paperwork for all testing activities and evidences as well as change requests.
Testing with Hospital /EMR Information system, external interfaces during system changes, version upgrades, Etc.
Provide Off hours and Weekend support in case of any IT tickets (incidents) which require immediate action.
Resolving internal tickets, Helpdesk tickets created by users on time as per the SLA guidelines.
Qualifications
BSc /BE/BTECH in relevant field
5+ years experience in LIS System.
Fluent in written and spoken English
Hands on knowledge on LIS workflows.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Capability of working independentlyand as a team member
