Job Description
Role: AIX Administrator Location : Fujairah, Onsite Contract Duration : 1 year Budget: 12k AED Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain AIX operating systems and servers. Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of AIX infrastructure. Perform regular system backups and restore operations. Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to AIX systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on AIX platforms. Implement and manage system security and compliance measures. Collaborate to integrate AIX systems with other network resources. Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and tasks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience as an AIX Administrator or similar role. Proven expertise in AIX operating system administration. Strong understanding of AIX server hardware and software management. Experience with system backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. AIX certification is a plus.
