We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr AIX Administrator to manage and optimize our AIX environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AIX systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining high availability and performance of our infrastructure.

What You'll Do:
key Responsibilities: 8+ yrs experience IBM P series 9/10 Admin is main role Install, configure, and maintain AIX systems 7.1/2/3, including hardware like IBM power E1050, P950 Install, configure VIOs, HMC Install/ configure/Migrate LPARs LLDs of LPAR profiles Knowledge of GPFS cluster Worked on NIM environment ,mksyb , backups , imaging etc Develop and implement scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system resources. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems. Develop and maintain documentation for AIX systems, including configuration files and technical notes. Stay up-to-date with the latest AIX technologies and best practices.
Technical Requirements good to have Strong knowledge of AIX operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Experience with AIX scripting languages, such as Python or Perl. Familiarity with AIX system management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet. Knowledge of AIX security best practices and compliance requirements. Experience with AIX virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM. Strong understanding of AIX networking protocols and configurations.
