Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Air and Water Balancing Technician (TAB Technician)
with a minimum of 2 years of HVAC balancing experience. The successful candidate will perform testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of air and hydronic systems to ensure they meet design specifications and industry standards.Responsibilities
Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems. Measure and record airflow and waterflow using precision instruments. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics. Prepare detailed and accurate TAB reports. Identify and troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues. Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of TAB or related HVAC experience. Knowledge of HVAC systems, air distribution, and hydronic balancing. Familiarity with NEBB, AABC, or TABB standards (certification a plus). Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Valid driver's license
