Key Responsibilities

Verify piping and duct designs and perform necessary repairs. Conduct AHU performance reviews, including air and water balancing. Liaise with consultants and government authorities to obtain Municipality and QCDD approvals. Lead internal and external projects, managing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Review and improve work methods and operational processes. Monitor equipment condition, spares availability, and energy consumption; recommend replacements when necessary. Raise purchase requisitions and follow up on deliveries with the procurement team. Conduct root cause analysis of recurring technical issues and implement corrective measures. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times. Manage up to 15 sub-contractors under AMC, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure timely service delivery. Evaluate contractor performance, ensure work quality, and take corrective actions when needed. Source contractors and vendors for spare parts and ad-hoc services from local and international markets. Control spending on tools, spares, and consumables, maintaining alignment with the allocated budget. Prepare high-quality operational reports for management review.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in HVAC.

UPDA and QCDD certified

(Mandatory). Minimum

10 years of experience in the GCC

region managing commercial building systems (villa/residential tower experience will not be considered). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, fire and life safety systems, and compliance with local codes. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and project planning tools.
