Job Description

We are looking for an innovative and technically skilled AI & HR Tech Intern to support the design and implementation of custom-built Generative AI and automation solutions within our HR technology platform.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of AI engineering, HR process automation, and full-stack development, using direct code integrations -- not third-party tools like n8n or Zapier.

You will contribute to the development of AI agents, API integrations, and HR-focused automation features that enhance recruitment, onboarding, and employee management experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop AI-powered agents and tools to automate HR and business processes.

Build and customize end-to-end AI workflows using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or custom models through direct API integration.

Develop and maintain backend services (Laravel, Node.js, or Python) to connect AI systems with internal applications and databases.

Implement frontend interfaces (Vue.js, React, or similar) for HR users to interact with AI-driven modules.

Integrate AI with existing HR systems (ATS, HRMS, employee portals) for smart data handling and analytics.

Conduct prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and response optimization for tailored HR scenarios.

Research and prototype new GenAI capabilities to support business intelligence and process automation.

Maintain clear documentation for AI models, APIs, and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

Solid understanding of AI, LLMs, and conversational agents.

Experience using OpenAI API, Claude, Gemini, or other generative AI frameworks.

Strong backend development skills (Laravel, Node.js, or Python).

Good command of frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular).

Familiarity with API development, RESTful services, and database design (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build automation directly in code (no low-code/no-code platforms).

Knowledge of prompt design, embeddings, and context management for LLMs.

Understanding of HRTech processes (recruitment pipelines, candidate tracking, employee engagement) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI, or related disciplines.

Hands-on experience building AI chatbots, assistants, or automation agents.

Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control (Git).

Curious mindset with strong attention to scalability, optimization, and clean code.
