A well-established company engaged in Pearls & Precious Stones Trading and Jewellery Trading, based in JLT Dubai, is seeking a bilingual Administrative Assistant with fluency in French and English. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations while assisting with customer coordination, documentation, and internal communication, particularly with French-speaking clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform administrative and clerical duties including data entry, document preparation, filing, and scheduling.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in both French and English.
Prepare quotations, invoices, and business correspondence related to trading activities.
Maintain organized records for trade documentation, inventory, and customer files.
Assist with logistics coordination for jewellery shipments and inventory movement.
Provide front-desk support, welcome guests, and coordinate appointments.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Support compliance with DMCC/JLT administrative procedures.
Requirements:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory (spoken and written).
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within trading, jewellery, or luxury goods sectors.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Experience in a JLT / DMCC-licensed company is an advantage.
