Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage our financial records and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with Zoho Books. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization and supporting our growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local regulations. Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Manage general ledger entries and ensure accurate and timely closing of books. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented. Prepare and file tax returns as required. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making. Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Zoho Books and other financial software.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related role. Proficiency in Zoho Books and other accounting software. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the construction industry. Knowledge of other financial software and tools. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
