month-end and year-end close processes
, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting business decisions with valuable financial insights.
Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts.
Post journal entries and maintain all accounting records.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate financial reports for management and other departments.
Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit reports.
Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
Assist in tax return preparation (VAT, sales tax, etc.).
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
Provide financial insights to support business functions.
Collaborate with other departments (AP, AR, Payroll) to resolve accounting issues.
Requirement?
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum
2-3 years of UAE experience as Accountant
preferably in
RETAIL
Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
Ability to communicate financial information in a clear, concise manner.
