Position Summary:

The

Senior Accountant

will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE tax laws, and providing strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate must have strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in managing multi-entity financials, and an in-depth understanding of

UAE VAT regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations Ensure compliance with

UAE VAT laws

, and prepare and file VAT returns accurately and on time Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts Analyze financial data and present reports to senior management Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process Supervise junior accounting staff and provide necessary training and guidance Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are maintained Work closely with cross-functional departments (salon, restaurant, maintenance) to align financial processes

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/ACCA/CMA certification is preferred)

Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience

, with

at least 3 years in the UAE

in a senior accounting role Strong knowledge of

UAE financial regulations

,

VAT laws

, and

IFRS

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems) Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
