EVS Electric Vehicle Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Accountant
to join our Sharjah branch. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with
Odoo ERP
, and the ability to manage end-to-end financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Handle VAT calculations, filings, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee-related payments.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and ensure audit readiness.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4-6 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory).
Solid understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic/Hindi is a plus).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
