We are seeking a highly capable Accountant with expertise in UAE tax compliance and strong proficiency in leading accounting software. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of work experience, including time spent in a consultancy firm, and be well-versed in
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
. A valid UAE driving license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporate tax filings; maintain complete tax documentation.
Apply IFRS standards in the preparation and analysis of financial statements.
Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings in compliance with IFRS.
Use accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, and similar platforms to manage financial data.
Collaborate with clients or internal departments for financial planning and budgeting.
Conduct internal financial reviews and assist in audit preparations.
Liaise with clients or internal teams to provide financial advisory and reporting insights.
Recommend process improvements and contribute to strategic financial planning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3-4 years of professional experience, with at least 1-2 years in a consultancy firm setting.
Strong working knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, etc.).
Solid understanding of
IFRS
and its application in the UAE.
Valid UAE driving license.
Preferred Attributes:
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Comfortable managing multiple client accounts or business units.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Salary Range: AED 4,500 - AED 5,000
