Job Description

We're Hiring: Accountant (3+ Years Experience)

We are currently seeking a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience. Prior experience in the construction or contracting industry is highly preferred.

Requirements :



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Previous experience in the construction sector is a strong advantage

Very good command of English (spoken and written)

Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Below are the responsibilities



Financial Record keeping:

Accurately recording and maintaining financial transactions, including assets, liabilities, and equity.

Financial Statement Preparation:

Preparing balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.

Financial Analysis:

Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Tax Compliance:

Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Auditing:

Conducting internal audits and reconciling financial statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Preparing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and analyzing variances.

Financial Reporting:

Preparing reports for management, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Internal Controls:

Ensuring that internal controls are in place and effective.

Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

Advice and Consultation:

Providing financial advice and recommendations to management.
