Job Overview:



We are looking for a

detail-oriented Accountant

to join our team in

Sharjah

. Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage financial transactions related to

freight forwarding, cargo handling, and customs clearance

. Prepare and maintain

financial statements, invoices, and tax records

. Oversee

accounts payable and receivable

, ensuring timely payments and collections. Conduct

cost analysis

for shipping and logistics operations. Ensure compliance with

VAT regulations and international trade laws

. Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to optimize financial efficiency. Prepare

monthly financial reports

and assist in budgeting and forecasting. Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities for financial matters.

Qualifications & Skills:



Any nationality

Proven experience in

accounting within logistics, shipping, or supply chain management

. Strong knowledge of

VAT, customs regulations, and financial reporting standards

. Proficiency in

accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle ERP)

. Bachelor's degree in

Accounting, Finance, or a related field

(preferred). Must be based in

Sharjah, UAE

, or willing to relocate.
