Job Summary:

Lux Motors is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support the finance department with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring VAT compliance, preparing internal reports, and preferably having experience with accounting software, especially the Odoo system.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

Reconcile invoices, bank statements, and various accounts.

Process daily transactions including data entry, receipts, and payments.

Support management of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Assist with VAT calculations and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data.

Assist with internal audits and reviews.

Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting when required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or currently studying).

1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships included).

Proficiency in accounting software, especially the Odoo system.

Basic knowledge of VAT and financial practices in the UAE.

High accuracy in data entry and strong attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
