We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Accountant

to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in financial accounting, reporting, and cost control within the UAE, preferably in an

engineering consultancy environment

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Handle bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and cash flow management. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies. Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders during audits. Maintain accurate documentation and support project cost monitoring. Liaise with project managers and other departments for financial updates and reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Prior experience in an

engineering consultancy or construction

firm is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems). Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
