to manage end-to-end payroll processes for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with hands-on experience in payroll processing, statutory compliance, reconciliation, and employee compensation handling. A degree in commerce or business (B.Com, M.Com, MBA) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time
Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data accuracy
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, etc.)
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll-related statutory returns
Coordinate with HR and finance departments for attendance, leave, and compensation data
Manage payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Handle employee queries related to payroll, payslips, taxation, etc.
Support audits by providing required documentation and reports
Keep up to date with changes in payroll regulations and tax laws
Prepare payroll reports and MIS for management review
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) -
Required
Master's degree in commerce (M.Com) or MBA (Finance/HR) -
Preferred
10+ years of hands-on payroll/ accounting experience
Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Payroll, GreytHR, etc.)
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting principles
Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance in India
Excellent analytical and communication skills
High attention to detail and confidentiality
