Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Accountant
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the management with accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Maintain general ledger and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
Manage VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Monitor company cash flow and prepare regular financial forecasts.
Assist in budget preparation and cost control activities.
Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
Maintain accurate documentation and filing of all financial records.
Support management in financial analysis and decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (experience in DMCC companies is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
