Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

1.

Financial Transactions:

Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales, and receipts.

Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.

3.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

4.

Budgeting:

Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets to ensure financial stability.

5.

Tax Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

6.

Audit Support:

Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process and implement recommendations.

7.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

8.

Vendor and Client Relations:

Manage financial aspects of vendor and client relationships, including invoicing and payment processing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly desirable.

3. Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.

4. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and standards.
